* Open the book to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post the text of the next two to five sentences in your journal along with these instructions.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the cool book, or the intellectual one: pick the CLOSEST.

We will see that the key elements of performance-based instruction were accidentally put in place. We will look at the key elements more closely to see how they could be applied in other settings. Next, we will consider some tips and caveats and, last, select from an array of practice exercises.
