Jun. 19th, 2006 10:56 amSo I started a new job in early April, and it's fantastic - the only downside is that it is in Cupertino, which is over an hour from Oakland.
But the company is great, the product is phenomenal, and I'm back doing what I really love.
And it turns out that I can join the Cupertino city-run Sports Center for $300 per year, which is a great rate for a gym, and it's on the way to work. Other people from the company are members, so there's incentive to go, even.
I went to the gym 3x last week (before work) and today, and this morning my weight was 294 - last doctor appointment, in late April, I was at 304, so this is good progress for me.
I'd really like to get a new car - with this commute, I'd love to get a Prius, but I'm not sure if I can afford one at the moment. It would save SO much gas, though. Right now, I have to fill my tank every 3 days. Yikes!! And I think it will carry all the Lego.
