Bye Bye Boober
Feb. 26th, 2007 02:26 pmLast Thursday, our oldest cat (14 yo) passed away at the vet's office. Boober was a rag-doll mix that we adopted back in 1993 from a rescue network.
Boober was our favorite kitty. He loved being cuddled and we loved to hold him or just sit with him on the couch.
He would come up to the head of the bed and lie down next to me when I was asleep.
Boober - unlike other entities in my life - loved me unconditionally, without ever really having expectations. I mean other folks love me, but sometimes I can exasperate them.
Boober was different. He will be missed. If you live with a cat, give them a hug so they know you care. And look into their eyes when you talk to them. They Know.
