mmmm - Hawaii. I don't know when I'll make it there. and how did you go to Nebraska without going to any neighboring states? Most people drive I80 to get Nebraska...
I like cold weather, so I've been lucky enough to get to Hawaii when it's reasonable (in the 70s and 80s) - March and November. I'd hate to go in the hot summer.
I didn't count the states around Nebraska because I rode there on a Greyhound bus and the stops we made were very short, except for a Sunday afternoon in Salt Lake City when I had to transfer between buses and had a 4 hour layover.
PS - thanks for actually looking at my LJ. I didn't think anyone did. :-)
I say that if you suffered through those places on a Greyhound bus, you should *definitely* count them! It's not as if you flew over.
But then again, I guess you didn't really have much experience of them, either.
I haven't counted Arizona, b/c I've only changed planes at the Phoenix airport. (I've done that a number of times, but if I haven't been outside the airport, it really seemed like I had not been there.)
