What is going on??
Why, at my age, am I discovering an interest in Death Metal / Symphonic Metal and Scandanavian musical groups of that sort.
I suspect it's the incongruous mixture of 2 completely different genres, classical & metal.
It started with an mp3 file of Metallica playing __with__ the SF Symphony.
Then I came across a band called 'Haggard' on my acappella channel on Pandora.
A YouTube day exploring them and similar groups like Therion proved educational.
But I don't think I'd ever go to a concert, unless I was already in Sweden/Norway/Finland and had already seen The Real Group and Rajaton, etc.
